Have you ever made a scrapbook and been so geeked about it that you
wanted to share the idea with everyone you know, even people who—gasp—don’t scrapbook?
Hi, Cathy Zielske here and I’ve got that album to share with you in my newest workshop, the Two Views Album Project.
I’ve
created an album designed to ask some revealing, thought-provoking
questions – to be answered not just by you, but you and someone you love
and cherish. It could be your sister, your best friend, your child or
even your significant other. The goal? To create one album featuring two
unique perspectives on a range of topics, with some photos and
patterned paper tossed in for good measure.
My goal with scrapbooking has always been to capture authentic slices of
life that really show who I am in the world and what it all means
beyond just the pretty photos and charming embellishments. This album
not only let me do this, but it also gave me the opportunity to include a
second voice in the process (in this album, it’s my 16-year-old
daughter who came along for the ride).
With
custom journaling templates designed in both Word and Photoshop
Elements, I’ll guide you through the technical aspects of building this
project from the ground up. You can improve upon some of your digital
skills to create a truly hybrid scrapbook album project.
Beyond
that, you’ll create something I think you’ll treasure for years to
come. I know that my album buddy and I most definitely will.
Please check out the class description
and consider who you might want to share this scrapbooking adventure
with today. They don’t even have to be scrapbookers to join in the fun.
I hope to see you in class!
